About this Position

THE MISSION

Impremis is building and launching our own eCommerce brands while continuing to run a fast-growing performance marketing agency. The agency must remain lean, profitable, and operationally excellent so we can reinvest cash into our in-house brands.

We treat our brands as internal clients, and as they grow, so does the agency. Long-term, we’re aiming for a 9-figure valuation and an eventual roll-up exit. The COO will play a critical role in ensuring the agency remains a growth engine and scalable backbone for this vision.

What You’ll Own:

As COO, you will lead two core functions. First, manage and systematize a steady pipeline of agency leads through referrals, cold outreach, or partnerships. Second, manage and own our already made internal talent acquisition to help us scale. You will manage a team of 20 or more, oversee client performance to ensure retention, and project financial outcomes that inform our growth strategy.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • 25% leading and developing the team across all departments
  • 25% recruiting top talent and putting the right people in the right seats
  • 20% overseeing client performance and stepping in when needed
  • 15% improving internal systems and operational workflows
  • 15% growing company revenue through new sales and lead channels

Additional Benefits:

  • Performance bonuses, equity, profit share, and on-track earnings are all on the table
  • 12 days of paid annual leave (available after 6-month probation)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within a marketing agency or large eCommerce business
  • Proven sales experience, with the ability to lead calls and build a small sales team
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing for lead gen and D2C eCommerce (not marketplace-focused)
  • Successfully managed a team of 15 or more
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, hiring, and terminations

Essential Requirements

Essential Requirements

We’re looking for someone who can operate across strategy, systems, and execution with first-hand experience in the tools and platforms we use daily.

You must have:

  • Strong working knowledge of web design, development, advertising, branding, and creative workflows
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite tools
  • Direct experience with the backend of WordPress and Shopify
  • Hands-on experience running Facebook and Google Ads
  • Experience using email marketing CRMs for both lead gen and eCom (e.g. HubSpot for lead gen, Klaviyo for eCom)
  • Knowledge and experience in both B2B lead generation and B2C eCommerce
  • Familiarity with the demands of fast-paced startups and building from zero
  • Experience with Make, Integromat, or Zapier is a plus
  • Confidence in people management and client management

Preferred:

  • Based in Asia (PH, SG, ID, MY, etc.)
  • Available to work flexible hours between 9 AM and 6 PM PST 
  • No active side hustles or competing time commitments
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

Client and Revenue Growth

  • Increase in active client count
  • Client retention rate and average lifetime value
  • Number of referrals and partner-sourced leads
  • Cold outreach to close ratio
  • Revenue per team member

Operational Excellence

  • Agency-wide capacity planning accuracy (team bandwidth vs workload)
  • Timely execution of internal projects (launches, initiatives, system builds)
  • Internal dashboard and reporting uptime and accuracy
  • SOP completion and adoption rate across departments
  • Hiring velocity and successful onboarding of key roles
  • Reduction in internal bottlenecks and project delays
  • Percentage of decisions made using real-time data
